Quartier La Pala

The urbanization foresees a building type with a massive masonry spine containing the staircase block on the mountain side, contrasting the slope, and a large structural opening with a wide garden terrace facing south. Like wedges inserted into the hillside, the houses look down into the valley and capture the external environment, bringing it inside. The south façade is a layered space that acts as an adjustable filter between inside and outside.
